Bayernflora:Über Bayernflora
Die Initiative “Flora von Bayern” existiert seit mehr als 100 Jahren. Sie widmet sich dem Studium der Gefäßpflanzen in Bayern und hat zum Ziel alle Gefäßpflanzen, seien es natürlich vorkommende, neu eingebürgerte, invasive aber auch ausgestorbene Arten zu beschreiben. Die floristische Initiative hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, den Zustand der Flora über Zeit und Raum zu erfassen und zu dokumentieren. Die 2011 gegründete Arbeitsgemeinschaft Flora von Bayern unterstützt dies maßgeblich und bereitet die Veröffentlichung einer modernen Flora vor. Die Zusammenarbeit mit ehrenamtlichen Kartierern vor Ort und in den bayerischen Regionen sowie mit Pflanzenliebhabern und -kennern wird gesucht. All diese Aktivitäten sollen in einer Veröffentlichung zusammenfließen, einer „Flora“, die auch eine umfassende Bestimmungshilfe und Abbildungen der in Bayern vorkommenden Pflanzen beinhalten soll. Die Initiative der Flora von Bayern wird aktuell durch zwei eng zusammenarbeitende Infrastruktur-Projekte gefördert:

The initiative "Flora von Bayern" exists more than 100 years. It is devoted to the study of vascular plant life in Bavaria. The goal is to document all vascular plant life including all natural occurring or indigenous plants, new emerging plants, like invasive plants or over the years extinct plants. The main focus of the floristic initiative is the challenge to record all changes over space and time. To sucessfully reach the goal a close cooperation with regional groups is required. Since 2011 the consortium Arbeitsgemeinschaft Flora von Bayern supports the effort to publish a work "Flora" which will describe all plant species recently documented for Bavaria and to allow plant identification.
