Research interests My research emphasis is the taxonomy, nomenclature, biodiversity and phylogeny of hyphomycetes and ascomycetous fungi. Therein the economically important phytopathogenic groups of Cladosporiun s. l. and the powdery mildews (Erysiphales) are objects of current projects. The efforts also include biodiversity informatics.
